Antique bottles- Insectine ??

nusibambam asked: I have inherited a crate of Insectine bottles with seals intact including contents. All the bottles are labeled. I had to open the crate to view contents. The crate itself is wooden and is the original crate used by the manufacturer for shipping. (Velvetta USA) Has anyone any idea how much these bottles are worth? The bottles are circa 1895-1905. I cannot find much information on the web about these bottles although the powerhouse museum in Sydney has one. The label says “What is it” and it has information about the insects which it will eradicate. There is another smaller box(cardboard) inside the crate which I have not opened. Could these be applicators of some type?

Basically it’s an early bug repellent, like OFF!
Lord knows what’s in them? There are collectors out there for everything though. I’d say probably $100 USD or so.
We have a cheese here called Velveeta, so it’s interesting about the company name.
