The tune is from the group Basement jaxx, Not sure of the name. I have not been back there as you would need a helicoptor to get there as it is too remote, BUt the place in the 1860-1880 had oevr 3000 ppl!!! Now just a ghost town.

    Hi there,

That dump was from the late 1870′s, Ppl were poor back then and it shows in the diet. The goldfield pickles were good to find, and also the pontilled blacks a common as they are here. It was a scatter dump and stuff was thrown over a 20 meter square area so it was a case of probe until you hear glass, The place would still not be finished. I would say there would be goldfields pickles and black still to be found there.

I’ve been collecting for over 30 years myself(Long Island)-the best I did was go to a torn down house and found 4 pontil bottles on top of the ground!! Beats stamps and coins…

I’ve been digging bottles about 30 years in Upstate New York – very addictive hobby. My house is loaded with finds. Looks like you have 1880′s stuff here. Good dump.
