I was visiting a local east coast bottle show and found a bottle embossed with 'Burnett's Cocoaine'. Somewhat ignorantly, I asked the dealer "What was that bottle for?" His only comment was that it made your hair "very happy". Anyway, I bought it for cheap thinking it might have contained cocaine, but when reasearching online, I found that it did not. Catchy name, but no strange ingredients except cocoa oil. This antique hair tonic bottle taught me a lesson which I am sure its consumers learned. Never trust the name of a product...an especially good lesson for antique bottle collectors.
