because we dig about 500 of them a year. We figure if we break a few, one day they will turn into a collectable bottle.

We found it in an 1890-1910 era dump! A DEEEEEEEEEP DUMP!

Hey Matty, The Brown bottle with the odd stopper was more than likely an Iodone bottle. The Brown glass is needed for Iodine because light exposure would denature it and then the Iodine would not ‘work’ anymore. The stopper would be turned to either side, and at the right spot, it would allow the iodine to be poured out and used. What age dump did you dig this from? Hit me up with a comment on your Forum!!
