Pamela asked:

I have two bottles that I haven't had any success finding information on.
One is a porcelain bottle made by Royal Doulton for Chivas Brothers LTD, Aberdeen, Scotland. Green with black fleck glazed. Nothing painted except the lettering and stamp on the bottom. The front has a lion wearing a crown and a horse-ish figure - both on their hind legs holding a coat of arms, which has three lions stacked over each other, a single lion on its hind legs, three more lions, and a harp, in four sections (clockwise from top left). "DIEU ETMON DROIT" is written on a banner under the coat of arms and the lion and horse are standing on it. Small oval place for label.
The back has an embossed place for a label with a crown over it. The top is a metal crown. It stands about 8 inches high. Also says on bottom: Federal Law proibits sale or re-use of this bottle. There is no date or measurement.

  1. Tanks

The crest you are describing is the English royal coat of arms (picture link below) BTW the horse is a Unicorn. I know nothing about bottles but I suggest you send a picture of it to Royal Doulton, who still exist as a firm.

Royal Doulton (UK) Ltd, Barlaston, Stoke on Trent, ST12 9ES
